Needle moxibustion is a variation on the traditional technique. Needle Moxibustion involves placing small amounts of mugwort (moxa) on the tops of acupuncture needles that are inserted into the appropriate meridian points along the body. The mugwort on top of the needles is then lit as in traditional moxibustion, allowing the heat to travel down the needle and radiate on the skin around the needle to stimulate the energy in that part of the body. 0.4" diameter moxa has a cylinder in the base for insertion of needle's handle. Smokeless and odor free. Approx. 13 minutes burning time.
